Local Information Network for Community Services

LINCS is a unique and highly specialised electronic directory system designed to allow local councils and other organisations to co-operate in publishing high quality community directories. Information on services, events and non-geographical information like answers to common questions can be integrated into a single knowledge base.

Originally developed with a consortium of Sydney Inner West councils the product has grown to include many councils in Greater Sydney and in Western Australia.

Specialist offshoots of LINCS are used by Commonwealth Carelink Centres, The NSW Council for Intellectual Disabilities, The NSW Association for Mental Health and The Salvation Army.
