Description: These regular charity markets are a joint effort of the Uniting Church in Lindfield and Killara to raise funds to support families who are in crisis and/or homeless in the Hornsby-KuringGai LGAs. Volunteers come from all over the North Shore to help: people who have no affiliations with a church, and members of other faiths, such as Holy Family Catholic Parish. The proceeds of each Lindara Market helps to fund a social worker for the Lindara Families Program. See website for upcoming market dates and more information on this program.

Languages: Korean is spoken by 2-3 of our volunteers

Volunteering: Volunteers are needed for many different roles: sorting and pricing donations, setting up and/or packing away the market goods, helping with promotions, and even volunteers to provide clean saleable items and/or shop. Everyone can help this great cause in some way.
