Description: Provides technology assistance to over 55s. Volunteers help people from the very inexperienced through to the more tech savvy, who just want to expand their knowledge. At Maria Regina Church Hall, 7 Central Rd, Avalon, we offer one-to-one tuition tailored to the individual’s needs. Seniors bring and use their own portable devices, including iPads, iPhones, Android phones and tablets, Laptops (both PC and Apple) and digital cameras. At Newport Community Centre, 11-13 The Boulevarde, we offer small group training sessions on a wide variety of technology related subjects presented either as lectures or hands-on training sessions.
