Description: Located adjacent to Loftus train station. Historic Trams operate on the Museum's 1km tramline towards Sutherland and south 2km into The Royal National Park. The Museum contains over 40 tramcars, mostly from Australian cities as well as from USA, Germany and Japan, as well as photographic and tramway memorabilia displays. Significant buildings such as Miranda waiting shed and Railway Square waiting shed are lovingly restored onsite. Day ticket covers unlimited tram rides and includes entry to Museum Display Hall, picnic area (with free electric barbecues), and other facilities. A Kiosk and Souvenir shop are available. Regular opening days are Wednesdays and Sundays, open extra days as advertised, check website or social media. Limited parking available in Pitt Street and alongside Rawson Ave.
