Description: Offers free inclusive counselling services throughout NSW for people affected by gambling and their loved ones. GambleAware operates under a ‘no wrong door’ model. This approach means that no matter what the presentation of the client, GambleAware will support them to access an appropriate and accessible services. Engagement in therapeutic gambling counselling the ‘no wrong door approach’ allows clients to have positive engagement with the GambleAware service, whilst ensuring the appropriate support is in place. 10 GambleAware regions in NSW are aligned with local health districts to support the community alongside community and health services. Each region is overseen by a specialist GambleAware Provider dedicated to providing support to everyone impacted by gambling harm throughout that region, including Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
