Description: Conservation Volunteers is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that is dedicated to involving volunteers in conservation projects to help the environment. Conservation Volunteers is always looking for new and enthusiastic volunteers to get on board and help with conservation projects. Typical tasks include planting trees, removing weeds, collecting native seeds, building tracks and trails, as well as improving habitats and carrying out wildlife surveys. Projects take place in urban, regional and remote areas. Participation is completely free – just bring lunch and water.
No special skills or previous experience are required – on-site practical training is provided by our Team Leaders. Daily local projects leave from Central Station at 8am (return at 4pm).
