Description: Local museum with permanent exhibition housed in an early 19th century timber slab cottage. Displays feature the changing styles and fabrics of the house, the story of the White family who resided there through the 20th century and the related social history of North Sydney. Venue for Council's Writer in Residence program. School and community groups are encouraged to use the Museum for meetings and events. Group tours available outside opening hours by appointment. Volunteering: Volunteers welcome visitors, undertake basic administrative tasks and provide guided tours of the museum
Hours: 12-3pm Wed, February to December; closed Public Holidays. Garden open 7 days, 7am-7pm
