Description: Advances the rights of people with intellectual disability in the community through legal advice, education, reform activities and rights publications. Provides legal advice for people with intellectual disability, their families, carers, advocates and disability workers. Provides support at police stations and in court. Books, videos, kits, and other material on rights of people with intellectual disability are also available. Most advisory work is conducted by phone. All educational workshops are conducted outside the service in community facilities. Also runs Criminal Justice Support Service. Criminal Justice Support Network is a project of IDRS.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (Office), Mon-Fri 2pm-5pm (Legal advice - by appointment). Closed Christmas - New Years
