Description: Wheelchair Rugby League is an inclusive sport and is a variation of the running game that allows athletes with disabilities to compete with and against able-bodied people. Like the other competing nations, Australia is encouraging able-bodied athletes to compete. This inclusiveness has proved successful overseas, as it offers a level playing field for both types of athletes that few other sports can provide. Wheelchair Rugby League aspires to provide an inclusive recreational activity and to promote fun, fitness and self-development while fostering good sportsmanship in a safe and positive environment. The emphasis is on boosting individuals' participation, health, and well-being and their performance, social interaction, and self-esteem. In New South Wales Wheelchair Rugby League programs are currently available in Southern, Western, and Northern Sydney.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (Office)

Disability facilities: Parking, toilets available at game venue
