Description: Helping Hand Inc. is a registered charity since 1965. It offers: free telephone counselling (call Telefriend on 9419 8622); low cost face-to-face counselling by appointment (call Counselling Chatswood on 9411 5740); low cost scheduled phone counselling by appointment; and telephone counsellor training.

Volunteering: Volunteer opportunities exist in the following areas: Administration; Counselling; Information technology services; Management committee. Volunteers are required to provide trained counselling service via the telephone. Volunteers are required for administration projects (for example, fundraising appeals, training, AGM). Four to six hours per week is required (negotiable). For counselling work prior training is required. Computer literacy is required for administration work.
