Description: Melville Audiowalk is a service funded by the City of Melville where people can walk the path from Point Walter to Troy Park and listen to stories relating to the history of Melville by Perth actor and identity Monica Main. This is a great opportunity to hear stories about Melville and Perth while exploring the outdoors. The paths offer no obstruction to people with mobility issues and can be used in a group activity. Audiowalks are a great way to learn about Western Australia’s history while exercising, and easy to use! Simply download the free MP3 to your device, go to the section of the path marked as the beginning of the walk, press play and follow the directions from there. You will be asked to move to identifiable landmarks and listen to an account of the social and natural history associated with that site.
