Description: A walking group for seniors affiliated with the Heart Foundation. We organise 30-40 walks a year with most taking 2-3 hours. These are easy walks through public parks, fire trails and suburban streets and there are medium/ hard bushwalks. Public transport is used to travel to and from most walks and, where this is impractical, car pooling is used. During the year, we organise 2 Getaways (standard/ easy walks) and Safaris (medium /hard walks) away from the Sydney Metropolitan Area. We also hold a number of social activities for members each year . Annual membership is $15.
