Description: Youth Choices is Constable Care Foundation's theatre-in-education program designed to empower secondary school students to deal with the social pressures affecting their day to day lives. Using Forum Theatre to explore challenging social and mental health topics, students become part of the performance and act out scenarios to develop solutions in a safe environment. Secondary school incursions foster resilience, teamwork, negotiation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Our programs help students develop strategies to deal with some of the complex issues they may face. This creative way of exploring youth challenges is recognised internationally as effective in positively changing young people’s behaviours and is FREE for WA metropolitan and regional schools.
