Description: To provide culturally appropriate services and to connect and work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to become more confident, take control of all aspects of their life and create pathways to a better future.
Services:
- Early Years: Koori First Steps Pre-School; Koori Maternity Support; Koori Families as First Educators; Midwife; Koori Pre-School Assistant Program.
- Families: Aboriginal Cultural Support Plan; Aboriginal Family Led Decision Making; The Orange Door Practitioner.
- Health: Aboriginal Health Promotion and Chronic Care (AHPACC); Bush Fire Recovery; Home and Community Care (HACC).
- Housing: Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation has a small number of properties which are considered as subsidised social housing. The Housing Officer supports Koori families with their housing needs and assisting tenants to maintain their tenancy.
- Justice: Aboriginal Family Violence Support; Aboriginal Local Justice; Youth Justice; Aboriginal Alcohol and Other Drugs; Social Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB); Family Violence in Bushfires.
