Description: An independent public official legally appointed to protect and administer the financial affairs and property of people unable to make financial decisions for themselves where there is no other person suitable or able to assist. Can be appointed by the Guardianship Tribunal or the Supreme Court to act as guardians for adults with impaired decision-making abilities due to physical, intellectual, psychiatric disability or brain injuries.

Referral: Someone needs to apply on the person's behalf, there is an assessment process and hearing

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
