Description: The Boarding House Outreach Service (BHOS) works general boarding house residents who are at risk of homelessness and homeless people who have recently left a boarding house. The service provides case management to assist with housing, accessing mental or physical health services, drug and alcohol counselling and other support. The service covers the Inner West Council, City of Sydney, Canterbury, Canada Bay, Burwood, and Strathfield. BHOS also works with owners and operators to help with legal and compliance issues and in supporting residents.
