Description: Bridge manages social housing programs in the Eastern Suburbs and other areas. Once housed by Bridge tenants pay 25% of gross household income as rent. Only persons registered with NSW Department of Housing (Housing Commission) for housing- that is on the waiting list for Department of Housing - can apply to Bridge Housing Limited. Bridge Housing Limited houses people in high need and with demonstrated ties to the Eastern Suburbs area - already living or working in the area or accessing medical or education services in the area. The Eastern Suburbs area includes the local government municipalities of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick and Botany. An application form can be obtained by phoning the Bridge Housing Limited office. Fill in the application form and mail it to the Bridge Housing Limited office. At present most applicants are facing a wait time of several years.
