Description: HARR aims to advance the process of Reconciliation between Indigenous and Non Indigenous Australians in the Hornsby Area. HARR has achieved many significant projects in co-operation with Hornsby Council, acknowledging the special status of the original owners of the land and acknowledging the Darug and Guringai people as the original inhabitants of the Hornsby Area. Activities include Educational seminars and involvement in indigenous activities at State and Regional levels. Members pay a small fee and automatically become members of the State Reconciliation Council. HARR is also a member of the Northern Sydney Region Reconciliation Network.
