Description: A collection of dried, pressed specimens of native and introduced plant species found in Hornsby Shire, held in large folders in Hornsby Central Library. The accompanying Online Herbarium is a database of images and information about each plant species. The collection was compiled by the Hornsby Herbarium group, a collaboration between Hornsby Shire Library & Information Service and the Australian Plants Society, North Shore Group. Collecting began in 1995 and is ongoing.
