Description: The aim is to improve and maintain the quality of life on the river, for all residents including the molluscs, fish, birds, goannas, wallabies and all other fauna and flora. Quality of life on the river directly relates to the quality of the environment, both physical and social. Building community is just as important as the conservation of the natural environment. Progress is all about stopping destructive development, preserving the heritage, protecting the environment, building community, developing community resources and responding to community issues. It is our mission to place this community in the best possible position to achieve this. Progress has a proactive advocacy role through The Water Quality Sub-committee and fundraising activities by The Social and Events Sub-committee for a Santa Boat on Christmas eve, Meetings are usually tri-monthly held at the Berowra Waters Rural Fire Brigade Station. The AGM is normally held in December. Approx. 120 Members
