Description: Provides specialized support services to newly arrived migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants. Services include: settlement services that assist new arrivals to build self-reliance and integrate into the local community: employment and training that assists the target group to understand and access the Australian labour market programs: social enterprise and career-based opportunities; family support initiatives that address some of the social and cultural challenges for new entrants to Australia.
