Description: CAWS is primarily a Disability service providing Direct Advocacy, Citizen Advocacy and NDIS services. CAWS is registered with the NDIA to provide: Support Coordination; Specialist Support Coordination; Plan Management; Individual Support and Group Activities. The groups include Cooking classes (Fridays); Art and Crafts group (Tuesdays) and Performing Arts programs (Thursdays). CAWS also runs a community program at Lalor Park Community Hub and Lethbridge Park Community Centre. Both sites have a food recovery program where community members can gain access to food packages, free meals 2 days a week and social activities. It is encourage that people with a disability to join in these groups as participants or as volunteers.
