Description: The SWSLHD Sexual Assault Service is a Community Health based service providing services to children, young people and adults who have been sexually assaulted. The service is staffed by Counsellors (Social Workers, Psychologists and related disciplines) and Medical Officers. The services provided are for a wide range of emotional, psychological, behavioral, medical and legal aspects following sexual assault. The team is responsible for the provision of the After Hours Crisis Service to children and adults who have been recently sexually assaulted. Interpreters are available on request at no cost. The service does not see offenders of sexual assault.

Hours: 8:30am-5pm for counselling. 24 hour crisis and medical service.

Disability facilities: Elevator access,3 hours free parking at hospital with relevant government ID concession card) & TTY.

Languages: Spanish, and free Interpreter service also available.
