Description: Call in to the park office in Farnell Ave, Audley Heights, for maps, brochures and information about the special things to see and do in Australia's first national park. The shop has an excellent range of books, gifts and souvenirs. Camping bookings are made and permits issued here. Access: from Princes Highway, take Audley turnoff, McKell Avenue at Waterfall, or Lady Wakehurst Drive from Otford. From railway stations at Loftus, Engadine, Heathcote or Waterfall you can walk into the park. Light fires only in fireplaces provided at major picnic grounds; observe all Total Fire Bans * pets are not permitted in national parks * all native plants and animals (including trees living or dead) are protected * take your rubbish home.
