Description: Volunteer emergency response organisation for the local area and further afield when requested. Assists in search and rescue, bush fires, structural fires and motor vehicle accidents along Bells Line Of Road between Berambing and Bell. Involved in hazard reductions and community engagement to develop a firewise community.

Volunteering: New volunteer involvement welcomed. Opportunities for active or support membership, minimum age 16. Junior members aged 12-16 can participate in training but cannot attend fires or incidents.A wide range of relevent training opportunities are provided free of charge through the brigade and the NSW RFS Blue Mountains District, covering the needs of operational fire fighters, community engagement volunteers and other support roles for the brigade, once membership has been approved.
