Description: A free, confidential service that assists residential tenants advocate for their rights. BMTAAS provides a range of services including information, referrals, advice, assistance in negotiations with landlords or real estate agents, representation in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, and community legal education to tenants and community workers. Services are available to renters from Lapstone to Mt Tomah, and prioritised to those who are most vulnerable. Please note: we require the full name of your landlord before we can provide tenancy advice. Phone advice is available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:30am-12:30pm on 4704 0201. Messages can also be left outside these hours. BMTAAS is a program of the Elizabeth Evatt Community Legal Centre.
