Description: The museum consists of 16 rooms of local history items, including early farming equipment, convict artefacts, pottery, railway refreshment room crockery and silverware, clothing, photographic and natural history items. There are also two rooms displaying school memorabilia, one of a unique girls' boarding school in Blackheath. Groups can visit by appointment

Disability facilities: Wheelchair access to lower floor, disabled toilets at train station

Volunteering: Weekly working bees, manning the museum, cataloguing, serving on the committee
