Description: This NSW Heritage Listed Open Air Museum is set on 28 acres of beautiful picnic grounds at Wilberforce NSW. The buildings are local ones saved from demolition and re-sited to form an 1800s Australian Village. The authentic 1810 streetscape includes a Bank, Church, Police Station, General Store, Shearing Shed, Railway Station and houses that our Hawkesbury Pioneers actually lived in. There are BBQs to use for free and picnic areas, animals, plus there are trains and a hayrides for a small extra cost

Disability facilities: Disabled parking & toilet facilities - the 2 eateries and some buildings are wheelchair accessible

Volunteering: New Volunteers are always welcome - be a train driver, take part in our demonstrations or street re-enactments or chat with the public. A current Working With Children Check is needed.
