Description: Penrith Regional Gallery, Home of The Lewers Bequest is set on the western bank of the Nepean River at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Between 1950 and 1978 the Gallery site was the family home of artists Margo and Gerald Lewers, and was gifted to the community by the family in 1980. The unique nature of the Gallery, with its artistic and architectural heritage, galleries, gardens and collection make it a must see destination. As a site which welcomes 100,000 visitors a year, it remains true to its origins as a place of creativity and welcome.
