Description: Muru Mittigar Aboriginal Cultural Centre tells the story of the Dharug people, the traditional owners of the area. Muru Mittigar has an Aboriginal Cultural Museum showing Aboriginal history; Retail Art Centre featuring fine arts and crafts by Aboriginal artists; Nature walks with native plants traditionally used by Aboriginal people for medicinal, food or material resources. Visitors learn about local tribal areas, the diversity of Aboriginal culture and the local Dharug nation.
