Description: The Maternity Liaison Officers (MLOs) support women and families from culturally & linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds to receive maternity care. Assist women and their families attending antenatal care at Blacktown Hospital by providing information on public health care system, procedures and clinic visits. Provides education on pregnancy, labour, birth and parenting and links to services or support networks on breastfeeding, postpartum depression and women and mothers groups.
