Description: Bridging the Gap Initiative works with local service providers to bridge the gap by providing additional assistance to disadvantaged people in the region including sport and recreation assistance, essential equipment and services, No Interest Loans Scheme, Disadvantaged Youth Education & Training and Crisis Support. We train baristas under our Project Barista Connect program offering youth and disadvantaged people with a pathway to a career in the hospitality industry. We also have a coffee van which is available to hire for functions. We assist other community organisations by providing funding for projects meeting our criteria. Additionally, we auspice eligible community organisations to raise tax deductible donations.
