Location: Guildford Community Centre, 90 O'Neill St, Guildford 2161

Description: Support & social connection for older people and people with a disability for residents of Cumberland and surrounds. Those aged 65 years and over or Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders aged 50 years & over. People with a disability over the age of 18. Centre based activities where you enjoy a safe, stimulating environment. Client Enablement workers deliver wellness activities including gentle group exercise, creative arts, music, theme days, reminiscence and outings. Nutritious meals cooked in our own kitchens. Menu preferences and specific dietary requirements are accommodated. Respite services and support for carers. Care for those with special needs (e.g. bilingual, bicultural and dementia) Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders, Maltese and Spanish groups. Home visits, transport for tasks like shopping, reading and writing letters by trustworthy volunteers. Various exercise classes for people over 55 years.

Volunteering: Transport Assistants, Shopping Assistants, Program Assistants, Bus drivers, Home Visitors.

Disability facilities: Ramps, Hearing Loop, Accessible Transport.

Languages: Singhalese; Samoan; Vietnamese
