Description: Australian residents have access to books where publishers have specifically granted Australian or global rights and to all freely distributable titles (e.g. U.S. public domain or Creative Commons licensed). The library has over 17,000 books available to Australian residents today. When you log in as a member, Bookshare displays only the books you can download as a resident of Australia. Books are offered in four formats: 1. DAISY (Digitally Accessible Information System) - a digital audiobook 2. BRF (Braille Ready Format) - a digital Braille format for a refreshable Braille display 3. HTML - a .html file which can be viewed with any Internet browser (.html) 4. Text - a Plain Text file (.txt)
