Description: Sydney TAFE’s 'Yulang' Aboriginal Education and Training Unit (AETU) provides a wide range of courses for Aboriginal people. The unit consists of Aboriginal staff whose role is to support Aboriginal students and consult with Aboriginal communities and Industry to design and deliver appropriate TAFE courses.

TAFE Courses may commence at different times throughout the year and are held at TAFE colleges or in community settings. Our main goal is to provide the necessary support for Aboriginal people to access TAFE courses that will further enhance their education and employment prospects.

Support Services for Aboriginal students include: Course information; Tutorial support; Teacher liaison; Advice on pathways to higher education; Assistance with Abstudy applications; Apprenticeship and Traineeship opportunities
