Description: Provides ambulatory care services; patient education; diagnostic testing for all diabetes and endocrine problems. Appointment required for more than brief consultation. A range of services are provided including: outpatient clinic services; diabetes education; dietetics; podiatry; insulin pump starts; inpatient care and endocrine investigations. The department is active in clinical research, and is in particularly involved in trials of new drugs and devices for diabetes, pituitary disorders and obesity.
