Description: The Visitors Centre's exhibition 'Eight Days that Changed the World' is an interpretation of the first contact between Aboriginal people and the crew of the Endeavour under the command of James Cook. Displays provide information about this highly sensitive coastal peninsula, with its wetlands, heathlands and woodland forest communities - direct descendants of those studied by Joseph Banks and Daniel Solander, who accompanied Cook in 1770. The shop has a range of books, maps, gifts, souvenirs and refreshments. There is a Musuem and Theatre.

Disability facilities: Display areas and toilets are accessible.
