Description: Organisation of women working to "Build a Better World for Women and Girls". Presents awards to female students in local primary and high schools as well as Zonta scholarships for graduate study programs. Provides free breast care cushions for recovering cancer patients via the Breast Cancer Institute (Westmead). Provides assistance to local refuges for women and children escaping homelessness and domestic violence and eventually returning to independent living. Provides Zonta scholarships for mature students returning or wishing to attend study programs at university. Sponsor local high school students via the Young Women in Public Affairs Award held annually. Provides Birthing Kits for distribution in third world countries via fundraising and assembly of the Birthing Kits in local high schools. Meetings held 3rd Mon of month 6pm.
