Description: Provide services to current serving ADF members, ADF members transitioning and to veterans (anyone who has served one or more days in defence ie. Army, Navy or Air Force) and their families, including: 1. Housing assistance - Help with transitional housing, subsidised rent and long term housing; 2. Employment assistance - Career counselling & interview preparation, connections to employers, skill identification; 3. Support lodging, advocating and appealing the submission of Department of Veteran Affairs Claims; 4. Health - Assessment of general health factors & referral for treatment; 5. Education & Skills - Referral and access to 750 fee-free courses offered through more than 450 Registered Training Organizations including TAFE NSW; 6. Income & Finance - Short term financial assistance is available to help with essential living costs; 7. Social Support & Connection. Referrals to hobbies, groups and local clubs; 8. Spur Equine program for veterans suffering PTSD and illness/injury.
