Description: This Centre offers quality second hand goods for sale including clothing, household items and books. For people in financial hardship, the family assistance/welfare officer will assess individual or family needs and when deemed appropriate may provide vouchers to assist with payment of electricity, gas and telephone bills. The Centre refers on to other organisations when necessary eg: counselling (budget or personal), Gamblers Anonymous, etc. If necessary, a referral to the local conference may be provided. Two volunteer conference members may then visit a person or family in need and offer support which may include the provision of clothing or furniture. The family assistance officer is available during the times indicated below.
