Description: This is a 24hr line - for emergency support for carers. We respond to the respite needs of carers. The carer can be a family member, spouse, parent, partner, friend or neighbour who provides care on a regular basis. You do not have to be living with the person you are caring for but it must be on a regular basis. Our office assists carers by organising respite in your home, in the community or in a facilility. We also provide information and advice on community care services.

Hours: 9 - 5 for information about community services 24 hours for emergency support for carers

Eligibility: All ages but must be CARERS of young children with a disability, elders with a disability, people who have chronic or terminal illness, mental health or a frail aged person.

Description: Lennox House is a centre that caters for parents and children from birth-5 years. Activities offered include playgroup, occasional care, baby and kindy gym and music for toddlers. The activities are designed to involve parents and their children learning together. All activities are prepared and delivered by fully qualified early childhood trained teachers who are supported by a teacher's aide. Throughout the week we run a series of activities for 0-5 year olds which include playgroup, Kindy and Baby gym, music for tots and occasional care. Most of these programs are simply drop in programs and we charge only a nominal fee. All Lennox House activities are run during normal school term dates.
