Description: Social and recreational bus trips in buses modified to take wheelchairs. A door-to-door service for adults with physical disabilities. Support given by volunteer helpers and companions. New clients welcome. Volunteers needed.

Eligibility: From 18 years. Persons living in their own homes who have a physical disability that requires a wheelchair.

Description: A community bus service that helps residents of North Sydney Council area have access to shopping and other facilities. Passengers are picked up from their homes. The Wednesday Easy Rider service goes to Woolworths Neutral Bay and Bridgepoint Mosman. Friday services go to Woolworths Neutral Bay and North Sydney Olympic Pool. Description: Online and assisted shopping services are available to frail older people, people with a disability and their carers, include door-to-door independent shopping bus trips, to enable people to remain living independently at home.

Fees: Online shopping is paid to the supermarket on delivery. $12 return for assisted shopping in the local area.

Description: The Flexi-ride Cab Service is community transport service to help residents that have difficulties using normal transport services get around the North Sydney Local Government Area (LGA). The service can be used by residents for shopping, social appointments, meetings, medical and hospital appointments or any other purpose. Passengers are picked up from their home and can go anywhere in the North Sydney LGA, as well as Royal North Shore and Greenwich Private Hospitals. North Sydney Council is providing the service in partnership with Community Transport Lower North Shore. Advance bookings for the flexi cab are essential and can be made up to seven days ahead.
