Description: The Lane Cove Art Society is a not-for-profit organisation, run by volunteers, that aims to encourage, recognise and reward artistic talent and to provide a forum for people to share their interest and knowledge in art. We extend a warm welcome to all those interested in art. Our guest speakers are well-known artists, both traditional and contemporary, who show or explain techniques in a variety of media, or talk about the background to their involvement in art. The meetings are free and in the company of friendly, like-minded people. The Lane Cove Art Society meets on the fourth TUESDAY of each month (except January and December)at the Longueville Sporting Club, Corner Kenneth St and River Rd Longueville. The meetings start at 7:30pm with time to meet and talk prior to the demonstration.
