Description: Provides policy makers, administrators and the public with statistical information and research to help reduce crime and improve the NSW criminal justice system. The bureau maintains a statistical database on crimes reported to police and criminal matters dealt with in NSW courts, and conducts research on crime and justice issues. The bureau's information and publications are available to the public. Many publications are available for free from the bureau website. Statistical information may be requested via phone, email or from the website. Some common information requests are free of charge.
