Description: Designed to reduce bush fire hazards on bush fire prone property of aged residents and residents with disabling conditions, this one-off free service by the NSW Rural Fire Service supports residents to live confidently in bush fire prone areas (an area of land that can support a bush fire or is likely to be subject to bush fire attack, may extend 350 metres from significant bushland, or 100 metres from significant grassland). This service includes clearing gutters, thinning vegetation, removing leaf or tree debris, trimming branches and mowing/slashing grass.
