Description: The club offers seniors the opportunity to learn the basic skills of computing in a stress-free, friendly environment. The club has 5 desktop computers including an Apple Macintosh, several laptops and iPads, a scanner, 2 printers and broadband internet connection with wireless access. Lessons are conducted on a 1-1 basis for 45 minutes per week. Each student has access to a computer for hands-on tuition, or they can bring their own. The club also conducts lessons for small groups at the Newport Community Centre. Occasionally, e.g. Seniors Week, the club puts on presentations to members of the public.

Hours: Avalon: Mon-Fri 9am-1pm, some afternoon classes 1-4pm. Newport: Tues 1.30-3.30pm.
