Description: Represents the interests of Arab Australians and is active in promoting the economic, social and cultural life of the community. Provides a range of services to the community including financial and problem gambling counselling, senior support, child, youth and family support, casework, NDIS Support Coordination, advocacy, referral and general information. Also organise educational and social excursions for women and youth groups. Organises seminars, research, training, co-ordination and a range of yearly events and activities. Also have a translation service for Arabic to English or English to Arabic available for a fee. The Council also provides emergency relief assistance through EAPA vouchers. A safe place for LGBTI.
