Description:

Voluntary organisation provides minibus transport for adults using wheelchairs or with permanent mobility or vision disability (so unable to use public transport) to medical, hospital, dental appointments or meetings (but no regular ones). Three buses with hoists and wheelchair security and several volunteers utilise their cars to take clients to medical appointments.

To be eligible, clients must be over 18, be elderly and/or have a disability and live on the northern beaches. Kaddy will transport you anywhere in the Sydney metro at no charge, although ongoing clients do donate. Kaddy receives no government help but relies on donations.
