Description: This interest group represents people with complex communication needs, as well as those who live, know or work with them. 'Complex communication needs' means people who either have no speech or whose speech is very difficult to understand and who use other ways such as body language, signs/gestures, objects, photos, pictures or electronic communication aids to communicate. AGOSCI lobbies for their rights, increases public awareness and provides events like Biennial National Conference, National Study Tour. Has a list serve and newsletter on website and facebook.
