Description: MERIT is a program based in local courts that provides the opportunity for adult defendants with drug problems to work in a voluntary basis, towards rehabilitation as part of the bail process. Run by local health service. To be referred to a MERIT team in your area call the Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS) on 1800 250 015.
